Hi, I'm Simon Robertson and I am based in Bradley stoke, Bristol. I've been a driving instructor for 10 years and I am fully qualified, DSA approved driving instructor (ADI). I cover the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area, which includes: Bradley Stoke, Almondsbury, Thornbury, Patchway, Winterbourne, Filton, Stoke Gifford, Westbury on Trym, Henleaze, Horfield, Coalpit Heath, Downend and Yate, and can cover other Bristol locations too.
I have experience of all three Bristol driving test centres, Southmead, Kingswood and Brislington and plan your driving lessons to the area that best fits your preferred driving test centre.
I pride myself on providing quality, friendly and patient driving lessons and realize that for you to learn best you need to feel comfortable and relaxed during your driving lesson. I will adapt each driving lesson to your needs and in suitable locations, so you can make the most of the learning experience and gain confidence as a driver, not just for your driving test, but for life.
Previous to becoming a driving instructor I worked as a Store manager in the food retail industry for over 20 years and from that I have gained experience in coaching and guiding people to their full potential. I use these skills as a driving instructor to help my pupils, feel at ease in their driving lessons and at the same time feel that they are progressing as a driver. I explain new topics in a way that is easy to understand and tailored to your needs as a pupil. I have found this method very successful, with the majority of my pupils being able to pass their driving test first time and those that don't do not need many extra lessons to pass on their second attempt.
In addition, First National Driving School is my own driving school, and as an instructor I am really passionate about setting high standards in driving tuition and customer care for other driving instructors to follow.
Learning with First National was a great experience because I was initially worried about learning to drive. However, with their careful guidance and advice, my confidence grew and after nearly 4 months after passing I absolutely love driving, thanks First National!
